First place for apprentice Marvin Schulze Natorp in DSV "youth welds" competition

10

May2023

On 4th May 2023 our apprentices Linus Krimphove and Marvin Schulze Natorp took part in the DVS district competition "youth welds". In the competition, young talented welders from the region aged between 16-23 competed in four welding processes for the title of best young welder.

Both apprentices demonstrated their skills in the competition disciplines tungsten inert gas welding and metal active gas welding to the expert jury. The examination consisted of theory and practice, in which the basics of the technical theory were tested and two predefined welding seams (fillet weld and butt weld) had to be precisely welded in the competition discipline. At the end of the day, our apprentice Marvin Schulze Natorp emerged as the best young welder from the region in the TIG welding discipline and took first place in the competition. With this qualification, he will enter the DSV state competition in June to compete with the winners from other regions.

We thank our talented apprentices for their dedication and interest in the challenge. As a company, we are proud of the achievements of both apprentices and are happy about Marvin Schulze Natorp's special honour. We wish him much success and a steady hand for his upcoming task.
