The World Biogas Expo took place on 8 and 9 July 2026 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. The event brought together exhibitors and industry professionals from across the international biogas sector in a dedicated exhibition hall within the extensive NEC venue. Despite the exceptionally warm summer temperatures, the exhibition attracted a strong turnout on both days.

Representing Konrad Pumpe GmbH in Birmingham were Sales Director Michael Fischer and Sales Representative Paul Kössendrup. The UK has been one of the company’s key markets for many years, making the World Biogas Expo a regular fixture in Konrad Pumpe’s annual exhibition calendar. Numerous existing customers took the opportunity to visit our stand. In addition, new contacts were established and specific project enquiries were discussed.

Interest focused particularly on our solutions for biogas and biomethane plants, as well as on the repowering of existing facilities. Many discussions progressed beyond initial enquiries and developed into specific projects that will now move into the next stage of evaluation and follow-up.
