IFAT took place in Munich from 13 to 17 May 2024. Konrad Pumpe GmbH took part in the trade fair and showcased its own biogas and recycling technology there. At stand 304 in Hall B4, covering an area of 48 m², the company showcased not only its tried-and-tested ‘BIG-Mix’ dosing system but also a new machine designed for processing agricultural waste and substrates at a throughput of more than 15 tonnes of solids per hour.
This was the second time Konrad Pumpe GmbH had taken part in the trade fair. Whilst the focus at the company’s first appearance at the fair in 2022 had been on presenting the “BIG-Mix” solids dosing unit, the exhibit proved to be a real crowd-puller at this year’s fair as well. In addition, Konrad Pumpe GmbH presented the “Biomass Shredder BMS” for the first time, which had recently been developed in collaboration with Tietjen Verfahrenstechnik GmbH. The ‘Biomass Shredder BMS’ is a vertical shredder capable of processing more than 15 tonnes of solids per hour. The ‘BIO-Mix-C’ was also a key focus of the presentation. The ‘BIO-Mix-C’ is designed for projects involving biogas technology in other countries. The dosing unit can be shipped in a 40-foot ISO container and is therefore suitable for sea transport to international markets.
The response to our exhibition stand was very positive. The international audience, who had travelled from 170 countries, showed great interest in our plant and technical solutions for the biogas and recycling sectors. Our own exhibition team was able to hold interesting discussions and make new contacts. Konrad Pumpe GmbH intends to take part in IFAT again in 2026.
IFAT is a leading global event for environmental technologies. Around 142,000 visitors attended between Monday morning and Friday afternoon to see 3,211 exhibitors from 61 countries and regions across an area of 30,000 m².
