The BIO-Mix-C is a solids dosing unit that is used for storing, processing and dosing solids and substrates in biogas plants. The system is specially designed for transport in 40-foot ISO sea containers and ensures reliable and efficient processing and dosing of various substrates and agricultural waste. This includes solids such as maize silage, GPS, solid manure, rice and maize straw.
We offer our system in sizes ranging from 18 to 46 m³ and with a vertical mixing screw or a dosing sword, depending on the planned substrate feed. The BIO-Mix-C is made of stainless steel in the area in contact with the product. Thanks to the robust design of the BIO-Mix-C, we can guarantee a long service life and functionality of your solid matter dosing unit.
The mixing screw equipped with knives ensures that the substrates are processed as required and conveys them at a speed of 8 to 12 rpm. The speed can be varied with a frequency converter. For free-flowing bulk material, the model with a low-wear and energy-efficient metering blade is recommended.
Global overseas transport
Due to its design, the BIO-Mix-C is ideally suited for sea transport to distant countries and continents. The components of the BIO-Mix-C are designed as a bolted modular system and can be packed and shipped in a standardised large-capacity container ("ISO container").
The BIO-Mix-C can be equipped with in-house control technology for independent operation of the system processes. All technical components, such as the weighing system, are connected centrally in the control cabinet and offer benefits such as maximum control of ongoing processes and rapid operational readiness through remote maintenance.
After processing, the substrate is usually transferred to the three-part screw conveyor strand we developed. The substrate is transferred directly to the fermenter via a gas-tight immersing fermenter screw. At the customer‘s request, the feed can also be transferred to a liquid feed system.
To make maintenance work easier, we offer the BIO-Mix-C with an optional inspection opening that is attached to the side wall of the container.
For accurate measurement of substrate quantities, we rely on a weighing system with an easy-to-read, large alphanumeric display and double-row LEDs. The user-friendly interface allows easy calibration. For further processing of the data, analogue signal outputs as well as various bus interfaces can be provided.
A hydraulically operated cover reduces emissions and weather influences. The sturdy construction consists of a stainless steel frame with a stainless steel cover. The cover can optionally be controlled via a radio remote control.
