The intake and dosing are optimally matched to the mixing technology in the fermenter. The vertical screw conveyor also serves as a support for the fermenter screw, which is important for fermenters whose walls cannot bear any mechanical loads.
The advantage of vertical conveying is that the screw element floats in the conveying substrate and does not touch the side walls.
