In a time of constant change, it is now rather rare for employees to retire in the same company where their career once began as an apprentice or young specialist. At Konrad Pumpe GmbH, whose origins date back to around 1830, things are different, because here it is not uncommon for employees to start with their apprenticeship and then remain loyal to the company until their well-deserved retirement. This long-standing loyalty is not something that can be taken for granted and deserves the highest recognition.
On 1 August 2020, two employees were honoured for their many years of trusting cooperation in a spirit of partnership. During a small celebration, the managing directors Konrad Pumpe and Stefan Pumpe thanked the employees Andreas Kloska and Raimund Woschek for 40 years of company loyalty and commitment.
The two employees have contributed significantly to the success of the company and have actively helped to turn a company with 5 employees and 350 sqm of hall space into today's company with 70 employees on a property of 39,500 sqm and a built-up area of 10,000 sqm.
The aim of Konrad Pumpe GmbH is to promote employees, to strengthen their own initiative, to trust them and to give them responsibility. Long-term motivated employees who use and pass on their accumulated experience for the benefit of the company form the foundation of a strong team in any company.
